Basic Projects

Each of the Basic Projects represents different technique of the Basic patchwork (blocks are from Sampler Quilt Project). During the course I will show you how to cut, piece, quilt and finish your creation. Each project is different and everybody has own timing. If you will not finish your project during lessons or you will have a problem to continue alone at home you can come to Open Sessions or use Private Lessons.

We will use only 100% cotton fabrics. Wash and iron fabric before coming in class and remove the selvedges. Rinse dark colors separately in warm water to check for excess dye. Continue rinsing until water runs clear. Iron fabric when slightly damp for best results.

Sampler Quilt
The best way how to start patchwork properly. I will give you professional guidance from the start of the project until the completion. You will be walked through fabric and color selection, through block sewing and much more.
